About Dr. Shane Haas, PA-C
Shane Haas PA-C, was born in sunny Anaheim California and raised in rainy (but beautiful) Bellingham, WA. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Health Science from Brigham Young University –Idaho and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada. He became a board certified Physician Assistant in November 2014 and began practicing general orthopedics soon after.
He moved to the treasure valley in 2016, sub-specializing in lower extremity orthopedics and orthopedic trauma for 6 years, prior to making the switch to upper extremity orthopedics and joining the Idaho Hand Center. Shane is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery, and Idaho Academy of Physician Assistants.
His hobbies and interests include spending time with his wife and four children, coaching several local soccer teams, and playing all sports.
